Tomasz Pasikowski was born on January 1st, 1959.
He graduated from Gdańsk University (Uniwersytet Gdanski) from two faculties: in 1984 he was awarded the title Master of Science at the faculty of economics, and in 1989 at the faculty of law.
Within the period 1990 - 1994 he was a vice president and within the period 1995 - 1998 - the president of the town of Grudziadz. Since 1998 to January 2001 he performed the function of the General Director at the Ministry of Finance.
On January 12th, 2001, the President of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Aleksander Kwasniewski - at the proposal of the President of the NBP, Mr. Leszek Balcerowicz - appointed Mr. Tomasz Pasikowski the Member of the Management Board of the National Bank of Poland.
He is married, and he is a father to two sons.
