| Statement of the National Bank of Poland
The National Bank of Poland informs that it is not the issuer of the so called "Polish sample euro coins" offered on the numismatic market. This leads to a suspicion that the provisions of the Polish Act of January 31, 1980 on the National Emblem, Colours and Anthem of the Republic of Poland (as published in Dziennik Ustaw, the official journal of laws and regulations of the Republic of Poland of 1980, number 88, item 553 with further amendments of article 16(2) thereof) have been violated and that an offence under article 310 (1) and (2) or article 286 of the Polish Penal Code has been committed. The Public Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw has been informed accordingly.
