Leszek Balcerowicz in the Group of Trustees A new initiative by the Institute of International Finance Leszek Balcerowicz, President of the National Bank of Poland has become a member of the prestigious Group of Trustees of the Institute of International Finance. The group was established during the Spring Membership Meeting of the Institute in Zurich.
Jean-Claude Trichet, President of the European Central Bank, became a co-chairman of the Group of Trustees while eminent representatives of the world of finances, such as Joseph Ackermann, Chairman of the Management Board of Deutsche Bank AG and Vice Chairman of the Foundation Board of the World Economic Forum, were called to become its members.
The Group will engage in the introduction and development of good practices concerning capital flows and debt restructuring in emerging markets. More information on the Group is available on the Web page www.iif.com
