Narodowy Bank Polski in agreement with the National Bank of Ukraine announces that the exchange of Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) into Polish zloty (PLN) made available in order to meet the needs of Ukrainian citizens staying on the territory of the Republic of Poland is nearing the end. The final week of the purchase operations in branches of PKO Bank Polski is the week from 5 to 9 September 2022.

The programme, launched as a result of cooperation between Narodowy Bank Polski and the National Bank of Ukraine as well as with the operational involvement of PKO Bank Polski, has met its objectives of ensuring refugees from Ukraine access to their funds.

So far the branches of PKO Bank Polski have performed over 97,000 exchange transactions with a total value of UAH 690 million.
