President of the National Bank of Poland, Leszek Balcerowicz, participates today at the European Economic Summit that is held in Salzburg, Austria, at the initiative of the World Economic Forum.
During today's stay at the European Economic Summit in Salzburg, Leszek Balcerowicz, President of the National Bank of Poland, took part in the working meeting entitled Poland within the European Economic Summit that was held in the early afternoon.
In the afternoon, at 4.30 p.m., a plenary session entitled Global Growth: Can Europe Become the Consumer of Last Resort? will start. Besides Leszek Balcerowicz, the participants of the session will be Jacob A. Frenkel, President of Merrill Lynch International, UK, Annemarie Jorritsma-Lebbink, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Vaclav Klaus, President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament, and Caio Koch-Weser, Secretary of State in Finance Ministry of Germany.
