- Raimo Juhani Valo to the position of the Management Board Chairman of Svenska Handelsbanken (Polska) S.A. with a seat in Warsaw,
- Wieslaw Zoltkowski to the position of the Management Board Chairman of Bank Rozwoju Cukrownictwa S.A. with a seat in Poznan,
- Grzegorz Tracz to the position of the Management Board Chairman of Volkswagen Bank Polska S.A. with a seat in Warsaw,
- Zbigniew Lichocki to the position of the Management Board Member of MHB Bank (Polska) S.A. with a seat in Warsaw,
- Robert Tomasz Rutowicz to the position of the Management Board Member of Svenska Handelsbanken (Polska) S.A. with a seat in Warsaw.
The Commission for Banking Supervision issued a permission for the merger of Bank Zachodni S.A. with a seat in Wroclaw and Wielkopolski Bank Kredytowy S.A. with a seat in Poznan through a transfer of the assets of Wielkopolski Bank Kredytowy S.A. to Bank Zachodni S.A. in exchange for the shares of Bank Zachodni S.A. The Commission for Banking Supervision has issued a permission to acquire by: - ING Bank with a seat in Amsterdam the shares of Bank Slaski S.A. with a seat in Katowice, which authorize the holder to over 75% voting rights at the General Shareholders' Meeting of the Bank,
- Bank Zachodni S.A. with a seat in Wroclaw the shares of Gliwicki Bank Handlowy S.A. with a seat in Gliwice, which authorize the holder to over 75% voting rights at the General Shareholders' Meeting of the Bank,
- The Bank of New York with a seat in New York the shares of Powszechny Bank Kredytowy S.A. with a seat in Warsaw, which authorize the holder, including the shares already held, to over 20% voting rights, not more than 25% voting rights, at the General Shareholders' Meeting of the Bank,
- GE Capital International Financing Corporation with a seat in New York the shares of GE Capital Bank S.A. with a seat in Gdansk, which authorize the holder to over 75% voting rights at the General Shareholders' Meeting of the Bank,
- GE Capital International Financing Corporation with a seat in New York the shares of GE Bank Mieszkaniowy S.A. with a seat in Warsaw, which authorize the holder to over 75% voting rights at the General Shareholders' Meeting of the Bank.
The Commission for Banking Supervision: - reviewed the situation of commercial banks under recovery programs,
- accepted Report of the activities of the Commission for Banking Supervision for 2000,
- accepted the general schedule of its activities for 2001.
